The reality of Ukraine today looks like a horror movie.
More than 150,000 buildings have been damaged or completely destroyed as a result of russian aggression. About 170,000 Ukrainians have been left homeless. The frontline and de-occupied territories would easily turn into ghost towns if it were not for the people who do not want to leave their homes. Moreover, they are returning there from evacuation.
Waiting for help from the state is a complicated and lengthy process, especially in times of war. But we need to act now!
That’s why our team is implementing the “Reconstruction” project.

WE DON’T JUST RESTORE HOUSES, WE LET FAMILIES LIVE IN THEIR HOMES.

  • 250+ restored objects
  • We are planning to restore 500 objects

OUR EXPERIENCE

The amount of materials used in the process of restoring objects:

  • 14584 bags of building mixtures
  • 1506 rolls of building materials
  • 459 units of sanitary ware

PROJECT ISSUES

Urgent assistance to Ukrainians in the newly liberated territories to restore damaged residential buildings.

Restoration of social objects that are ready to resume operations (schools, kindergartens, medical facilities, etc.).

The main problem is the lack of time, as the objects need urgent restoration as winter is approaching.

170 thousand houses damaged or completely destroyed

WAYS OF SOLVING THE PROBLEM:

  1. Systematization of work with local government and work teams on the ground.
  2. Accepting applications for reconstruction and assessing the amount of assistance needed.
  3. Search for systemic donors of construction materials.
  4. Search for systemic donors of financial resources.
  5. Cooperation with partner organizations.
